Hi,
Never heard of them
Manufacturer's website if anywhere,
I have checked all my battery haunt's, where I buy, never seen or heard of that one,
If battery central and places like ebay, or Manufacturer's website don't have it, you won't find it anywhere, sorry.
contact Manufacturer, buzz them ask them, they will say yea or nah.

Regards.

My magellan 3250 will not turn on .I charged it,do you have to put new batteries in it???

its probably not the battery, even though most self proclaimed experts on here will tell you that...dont buy anything until you verify whether its the battery or the power port...could even be a problem on the board.

plug it in to a know good charger for a few hours, then press and hold the power button for up to ten seconds...if it fails to start, its probably the power port...a new battery will probably get it started, but youll have the same problem once it dies.

Prolong Your GPS Battery Life

Are you tired of having to keep your GPS plugged into the car for the entire duration of your drive? Does it die out instantaneously after removing it from it's jack? If it does, there nothing you can do to fix it because the battery had over heated and lost its battery life tremendously. I can only say that you would need to purchase a new one.
However, if your GPS doesn't die out right away, here's your chance to start prolonging its life. First, let it completely die out by turning it on, and leaving it on until it the batteries run out of charge. Second, plug the dead GPS into either a house outlet, or a car jack (if you are using the car jack, make sure the car is on!!!). Third, wait for the GPS to reach full capacity, but DO NOT let it overcharge, it kills the battery. So I recommend checking on the charging GPS periodically at even intervals of your choice. When it is done, just unplug it, and it is good to go.
NOTE: Do not charge the GPS in while in use.NOTE: If the battery is low as you are driving, turn it off and plug it in to charge.Explanation: This is why the steps above the notes are to be taken to prolong the life of your GPS' battery. 1 Complete Charge + 1 Complete Drain = 1 Charging Cycle

My Garmin 680 doesn't seem to hold a charge. How do I replace the battery?

Replacing the nuvi 680's battery is actually not all that hard as this video demonstrates:

The company that produced the video sells a kit which includes the battery and tools necessary to do this yourself if you'd like. See: http://www.newpower99.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=GARMIN+NUVI+680&Show=ExtInfo I swapped the battery of a friend's dying GPS using the aforementioned kit and all went well. His nuvi 680 is back up and running smoothly.

Bad battery

though if it was a problem it would have blown the 10amp fuse????Don't rely on on whether the bike will start at a gas station to determine if the charging system is working. Get the multimeter out and do a proper test. Should be getting about 14.5 volts @ around 3K RPM. It's too easy of a test to to just skip. If it is charging then start looking for something else. Was the new battery properly charged to begin with? Loose battery connection? I suppose the GPS could be too much but you said that it was dying last november so I would suspect something else. P.S. you need a properly charged battery to get an accurate reading for the charging test. ,,,

My garmin gps will not charge and it will not stay on.

Your battery inside the GPS is most likely either defective, or has been overcharged, creating an effect where the dry cells inside the battery are swelled and no longer work as they are made to. The only way to fix this is to send the GPS to service and have a new battery installed. to avoid having this happen again, don't leave any device with a rechargeable battery plugged in longer than it needs to be(IE after it has fully charged).

Magellan repairs

I don't know what wire you are referring to, however, I just fixed one last week that was 1 year old, not taking a charge (not even to get the screen up at all). Went to batteries plus, ordered a battery for it (there are 4 screws in the back and then some plastic catches that are released with a thin screwdriver--I started on the top). The battery was $25 but the unit is no longer under warrenty and it cost $50 through Radio Shack for them to send it in to the company. Worked perfectly with new battery.
