do you have XP or Vista?

In the case you don't have the original disks from your Vostro anymore you can request them from Dell (one time only per laptop/desktop):https://support.dell.com/support/topics/...

Do you still have the original setup discs that came with your PC?

Virus in Camera

Your model doesn't come with built-in storage, so that makes this easier. You should first put in another SD card and see if that helps. If it does, you'll probably have to reformat your first SD card, wiping everything on it. Sometimes formatting issues appear to Windows like a virus on an external device. If this does not fix the virus warning problem, then your virus is likely on your computer, not the camera.

A good virus scanner/remover might be in order for your computer.

Hope this helps. Good luck

I got prob on when virus attack my laptop my assignment file has corrupt have any solution?

Hi,

Have you removed the virus from your computer? You can read my tech article on removing viruses by clicking here. There is a chance that if the file itself was infected, and the virus is removed, the file maybe deleted.

If you are using a Word processing program you can see if it saved an older copy of the file, or maybe you have a backup. These would be your only options at this point.

I have many problems with my computer and i think it has multiple viruses. What do you suggest that i do?

Use the Restoration Disk/s, (System Restore Disk/s, Restore Disk/s = Same/same), and perform a Full Installation. (Destructive Installation) Wipe the Harddrive until it is back to day 1 when the computer was made.

Security adware virus Multiple virus programs (webroot/norton/etc) have been unable to completly remove this virus. I have a Dell Inspiron 520 with Vista 64-bit. Thanks

If MalwareBytes Anti-Malware tool and Avast anti-virus boot scan do not rid your system of the virus, you may have to remove the hard drive from the infected computer and using an adapter, attach it to another computer such as a laptop or another desktop. The adapter attaches to the hard drive and then uses a usb for the interface. They can be bought at computer stores for around 20 bucks. Once you have attached the infected drive, double click on the "My Computer" icon and then right click on the infected drive icon. Scroll down until you see the selection for either "scan with MalwareBytes" or "Scan with Avast". ONce these scans are complete, replace the hard drive back into the original system. Another great scanner is Super AntiSpyware. All these are free downloads at www.filehippo.com

I have an older Dell 8100 that is infected, I cannot use it.

It might be really what it says, but chances are you have accidentally started a "fake virus scam" malware, that acts a bit like a virus, but with an added function of luring you into paying for some miraculous anti-virus, that will cure your computer of the multiple "infections" it has allegedly "discovered".
If you can open Internet Explorer, you may try one of the online virus scanners available. If not, the only thing left is to prepare on a clean computer a startup antivirus CD, from which you could boot your computer and run an antivirus program.

Free Online scanners:

Free boot antivirus products (CD image to burn):

Please come back with a testimonial if helped :)

My dell laptop is frozen. I was down loading anti virus software and it crashed. I had just scanned it for viruses and it said I was infected with the viruses worm and trojan horse. All my desktop icons...

I guess the main thing we should consider is how badly you are infected. If all your icons are gone because you're that badly infected then I assume you can't regain internet access. This being the case I can suggest two solutions. 1. Go to your nearest library and download a copy of SDFIX and/or MALWARE BYTES and store these on a flash drive. Then you can clean your computer from this flash drive. 2. If you're babdly infected and cannot use a flash drive then you'll need to slave your present harddrive to an uninfected harddrive. Probably best done by a reputable computer repairperson. Give these a try and hope for the best.

Thanks

It sound that you are infected with a virus( in my observation when i encoutered this kind of problem i was infected a virus "I love my peanut" virus this will create autorun.exe in your drive and change the Open to "i love my peanut" In my case coz i have no important files on my computer i reformat it. In your case if you have important files , you can attach your Harddrive to the other system or put it in enclosure to connect via USB then scan the hard drive for viruses. this virus will be deleted by symantec or any other potent antivirus.
