Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
A while back i took a shower and forgot i had my phone in pants, some moisture got into it and i had a clicking problem where it would automatically click, i removed the battery and case and put it in instant rice for 1-1/2 weeks without removing, the phone for about 2-3 weeks had no problems. A little while (2 weeks ago) the clicking problem came back, then it just stopped clicking at all. I have removed the rollerball and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and put it in, it still scrolls but just won't click. Its been like this for about a week now and i've had to use the enter. I have been sugested to buy a new rollerball off Ebay for about 6 bucks but i don't want to pay the money just yet. I'm hoping one of you people will know a simple fast solution.
You can Get A Phone Swap with your phone provider,
just give them a call and tell them that your Trackball is not working... they will run you threw some trouble shooting stuff... and then if it still deosnt work....... they will send you a referbished phone and you just send your old 1 back
