Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
After several months, the battery would not charge any more. dell sent me a new power adapter. that did not fix the problem. i was able to charge my battery on a friend's computer, so there is nothing wrong with my battery Upon power on, I get a black screen with with letters saying, unknown AC power. Press f1 to bypass/f2 to go to start up menu/f3 to not show warning again. After pressing f1 Vista boots up and the battery shows 0% available (plugged in, not charging) So I'm running off the wall adapter.
CHECK IN YOUR BIOS AND MAKE SURE ANY SETTINGS FOR POWER ARE ALL CORRECT ...SO THAT WOULD BE A F2 FUNCTION IF THE ABOVE IS CORRECT ...SEE IF THAT SOLVES THE ISSUE .
