Question about Dell Latitude D505 Notebook
Set up the linksys Wireless router with no problem, when I choose my wireless network connection, there's an Validating Identity message on the upper right hand corner.
It may be the authentication settings for the wireless connection, I am not sure what OS you are running but try turning off authentication in the connection settings.
If that doesn't work, try the network setup wizard if you have windows. You might also delete any saved 'profiles' for the wireless connection under the "Connect to the networks automatically' part.
If that still doesn't work, you could try uninstalling the wireless adapter from device manager and let windows reinstall it.
