i am using windows vista 32 bit btw
Thanks.
Okay this wont hurt your computer or cause conflick go to logitech.com click on right side support scroll on drop down menu and look for the unit that resembles you unit and download file and reboot. not all wireless keyboard and mouse are stable an if they are it can be for a short time. then they have to be replaced . did the wire less set come with a disk if so you need to run it.. another thing you should know is that windows vista is very unstable, do the research dont mean to sound harsh. another thing . go into the control panel click add hardware let it search and install if its there.. another thing you can to do, go into control panel , click on sysytem click on hardware , click device manger drop down menu will appear with plus signs next to each item. expand by clicking on small plus signs highlight riight click update driver, if nothing, disable funtion which would be your wireless set and reboot, restart. this should work, [email protected]

i dont want to sound harsh but i did post this inside a microsoft thread. i probably should of written that i am using a
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 3000
so i dont think logitech.com is going to help me much.
and btw i have been using the keyboard and mouse for over a year and it is the first time i have had problems with it.
and i have done most of stuff you just said like reinstalling the drivers and stuff in the control panel and also since i have been using vista with it for over a year i dont think it is vista.
i just want to know if their is a quick solution or if i should just send it back to microsoft.
Thanks
ps. i am also using brand new batteries
