I assume you are using usb socket to charge mouse. The voltage on a USB is 5volts , you may have a problem here. It may not be producing the correct voltage. Or you may have a problem with your cradle. I would suggest you see a repair person and get them to look at the USB voltage and the Mouse cradle..
Hope this helps.

i don't know this particular brand, but it probably has rechargable (and replacable) batteries, try replacing these, because some don't charge well

Erratic Logitech cordless optical mouse

Hi,
ive had the mx700 for two years and im very comfortable with it.
I think you problem lies not with the mouse or the driver, but rather the mousepad.
Since the mx700 is not a lasermouse, but "only" optical, it still needs a decent pad to work flawlessly.
Ive had problems with these kind of mice using blank paper, magazines or tablesurfaces.
Try to get a real mousepad from somewhere (should be really cheap), that should do the trick =)

I upgradet to a razer diamondback later which is a laser mouse (1600dpi, while optical mice (with the red light) have 800dpi). Some ppl say that this is too much, and not needed (you can get even higher specs =) but i felt a world of difference, it just works everywhere! (except for mirrors and glas =)

Logitech M700 Mouse recharging problem

try replacing batteries by newones,since they are ni-cd type,they do have limited no.of charge/recharge cycles and tend to lose performance with time.

Charging the Mx700 cordless optical mouse

I found the following:

Red light slow blinking: Battery Low, please put mouse in charger and charge;

When in Charger Red light Slow Blinking: No charging, please check and clean Gold Plated contacts in charger and Mouse;

When in Charger green light Blinking: Charging in progress

When in Charger green light Steady: Charging complete

When in Charger Red light Fast Blinking: Mouse detects overvoltage during charging! Please clean Battery contact inside Mouse, or replace rechargable batteries NiMh 1500-2100 mAh only

Mx700 keyboard/Mouse - Mouse doesn't work

Sounds like the mouse is bad. If you bought it from a friend, then it may very well be the case. I would replace the unit.
