Question about Pioneer DEH-1600 CD Player
The volume dial on my faceplate no longer pops out as it should, but still controls the volume. When taking the face apart, it is a 5 lead spring loaded component with no visible part number. It is easy to desolder and remove, but I cannot find a replacement part. Anyone know the part number?
Without purchasing the service manual, you can call pioneer parts and describe to them which part you need. If they give you a hard time and say you need the part #, you can say, it's very obvious from the diagram, it's an easy to find part. Hopefully they will help you. They have helped me in the past, but I do not know if they are required to help you when you do not have a part #.
