Question about Sharper Image 1612911 MP3 Player
When the player is plugged into the wall socket it works ok, but not by itself. It just shuts down. If it is the battery that is the problem how do I recharge it?
The battery will charge when running from mains. If you leave it plugged in for 20 minutes and then unplug, use and note how long before it shuts off, recharge again for 40 minutes and repeat. It shuould last a lot longer after a 40 min charge. And if it only lasts a minute or so after the first charge then the battery needs replacing (sometimes it's cheaper to replace the player) if it doesn't work at alll after 20min charge then definatly battery gone.
