TV stuck in standby

BUSH TV is stuck in standby, tried turning off from mains but nothing, tried holding down the power button for 2 min with mains turned off, then mains back on while holding power button for a further 2 min, still nothing..

Have you looked at power supply as you might have to change the caps on the power supply

Blinking of power light indicates there is something fault with internal circuit. These are called blinking codes. If you wish to know more about blinking codes to Bush TVs, check this link. Pull up older posts there.

Is there anything power signal lights?If there is no signal power lights,it is totaly dead set no power.First step is to check the power outlet,then the AC cord if there's a ac power.If the AC cord is good,check the fuse,located at the power supply.Replace same value of fuse if busted.Try this sugestion or procedure.Thankss...

try this Press and hold the on/ off button Whilst holding unplug the plug from the wall Continue holding for 30 seconds Plug in the plug whilst continuing to hold the on/ off button Continue to hold for a further 30 seconds And the screen should come back on, good luck

Press and hold the menu button on the t.v (not on the remote) for about a min, this should reset the processor to unlock it.

Lcd tv light flashing but no picture or sound

If you removed power by turning off power itself to the set instead of turning it off by turning the set itself off---that is not a good thing to do.

When power is restored a surge can and likely hit the power supply in your set---time for a tech or shop to open it---I suspect they will find the standby or main power supply is damaged or now bad.

Hi, i have 2 televisions different makes both turn on to standby but wont turn on fully, the bush tv when i push programme button to turn on the red standby button flashes but nothing else.

I have the same problem, my Bush LCD worked fine last night but won't turn on today. The main power button on the TV puts it onto standby but the remote or the buttons on the side won't turn it on!....HELP!

Tv lost picture and sound

TRY UNPLUGING SET FROM THE WALL FOR 1 MINUTE. PLUG SET BACK IN AND CHECK. IF PROBLEM PERSISTS TAKE IT TO A QUALFIED SERVICER. UNIT PROBABLY HAS A DEFECTIVE MAIN TOTAL ASSY.
