Question about Alpine CDA-7930
Am trying to remove the player from its mounting location. The installer has attached the unit to the dash. I am having trouble separating the face plate housing from the player, in order to remove from the dash. Any suggestions ?
It sounds like you need a din size extension. Metra and Schosce both have them. It goes behind the can then mount the can to that and your dash. If it is and ISO mount (radio mounted to brackets in the dash) the its in the wrong screw holes.
Last would be to file the dash bezel to allow fitment.
