CAN'T GET TV CONNECTON FROM WI FI OR COMPUTER?

First, please stop typing in capitals. It is the internet equivalent of shouting at someone. Would you be happy if some oik stood in front of your sainted mum and shouted at her? It's very rude. Please don't do it.

Now, to answer your question...
The connection of WiFi serves a different purpose to any connection of your TV to your computer. They are different things.

The WiFi connection is how your TV communicates with your home network and the internet. So it is a connection to the wireless router. Your TV needs to have wireless built in and active. Some TVs ship with the potential for wireless, but the dongle that acts as the wireless receiver is an optional extra. Does your TV have fully functioning wireless, or do you need to buy something extra?

Once you know you have a TV that is fully enabled for wireless then there's a set up routine you need to follow. It varies from brand to brand, and since you decided not to tell us the make and model of your TV then the best anyone can do is give some generic guidance.

Go in to the TV's network setup menus. Have a look to see if it is picking up yours and your neighbours wireless networks. If not, check if there's an option to toggle between wired and wireless set up.

Once you have it seeing your router and the house wireless network then select Connect and put in the wireless network password for your house network. This is often done using the remote controls 0#9 keypad like sending a text message. Make sure you put in the password correctly including any upper and lower case characters.

That's pretty much it for a network connection. There are other things that can stop or slow down a wireless connection. But if you're struggling just to type the password in correctly, then diagnosing and fixing those other issues might be a bit of a stretch for you.

As for a connection to your home PC. This is done for playing files from the PCs hard drive. It requires setting up some shared folders on the PC and making sure that the file format of any videos and films is compatible with the TV. Refer to your TV manual for the specifics.

Nb200 does not connect to wireless router ( dlink / virgin ) but will connect to neighbours unsecured wirless connection

you need to change your wirless settings.
I gues you have a high level security assigned to your router like WPA-PSK with a passphrase or WEP with 128 bit encryption.

Solution is :

Login to your router page and change the wireless security to WEP 64 bit and assign 10 digit number as a password in key 1. change your wireless name and click apply. and then try to connect to your own chnaged network.

In my network magic program it says im online but it says my dlink extreme n router is offline but im still connected to the internet through wirless and connected computers what does that mean and how can...

You maybe be connected (accidently) to the Internat through your neighbour's unsecured wireless network.
To configure and secure your wireless router and computer, follow these instructions : -
1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL
3. Enter the router setup, login and password
4. Change the admin password
5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA)
7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router.

Securing my wireless network DIR615

the password you entered should prevent people from using yor network unless they have the password. Your network will still show on other peoples settings when they check for networks to connect to, but now you have added a password for your router it should say secured next to it when they try to use your network it will ask them for the password - pin - etc... and if they do not have it then they should not be able to access your router. Why not try to see if one of your neighbours can still access it now you have protected it with a password.

Need to add a wirless code to laptop so it will geta wirless signal

For wireless connection you need a wireless adaptor in your laptop. Most of the laptop comes with wireless adaptor. If you have one then go to control panel--> network connection--> right click on wireless connection and view available networks in your area.

Please note : If you see a lock sign in front of a network it means that network is secured and you cant access it without password.

Please mail me if you need any other help or if something is not clear in my answer
Please rate my answer and Good luck !!

My 3 different mac laptops with airport can't connect to my wirless

Sounds like you might be accidentally connecting to a neighbour's network instead of your own. You need to go into your wireless settings on each laptop and tell them to connect to your own network.

Network

as long as you are not using your own router to connect to your neighbours, as this wont work only one router on the network can connect to the net Im assuming your pc is trying to connect to the neighbours router, so you need to reset the router if you cant access it, it should have no password as default and the ip address of the router should be 192.168.2.1. get into your network cards properties and ensure obtain an ip address automatically on the TCP/IP line is selected. Go into the router settings and make sure enable DHCP is set to allocate ip addresses automatically and that the router transmits on mixed mode b and G, turn off any wep or wpa encryption until you have a connection. Do not use windows connection repair as it will totaly mess up your pc's ip addresses and stop you from connecting to the routers ip address.
