Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
Ok, I bought my ps2 slim type pre owned to replace a dead normal type but it seems this one has problems of its own.
If you place a disk in and turn it on you get a black screen. You then have to turn it off by opening the disk lid (this causes it to power off since the power buton will not respond).
Then you have to remove the disk and turn it on again, and it loads fine.
Then you can turn it off with the power button and place the disk in and turn it on once more, NOW it will work.
If you turn it on with no disk and then place a disk in it will just keep reading indefinitely.
This process usually works but does not always.
This seem ware and tear problems ,
if the ps2 has'nt been opened or tamperd by anyone other than sony you may get it replaced by calling 08705998877.
explain you cant use it .
they will only replace it if not tampered with.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
