Question about LG VX5200 Cellular Phone

Main Disply In the main display, how do I turn off the clock image on the left side? Also, In the upper left corner, the word "OFF" is highlighted. My volume is turned all the way up, but when someone calls, it goes right to voicemail. How do I remove this so I can accept calls?

Your phone is most likely on "alarm" and on "mute". It sounds like you would benefit from downloading the manual. Try this link:
Rather than type out the keys to fix both of these settings, just look up "alarm" and "mute" modes.

How do I fix the clock

Push the main control knob (right side of the unit) either up or down, until the Kenwood's display screen shows "Clk Adj." Press the center of the control knob for about a second to enter the clock-setting mode.

  • 2 Push the main control knob either up or down to set the Kenwood's hour display. Stop when the correct hour shows on the screen.
  • 3 Push the main control knob to either the right or left to adjust the minute display. Stop when the correct hour shows on the screen.
  • 4 Press the "Menu" button located in the bottom-left corner to save the changes you made to the clock. This returns you to the main menu

    Unable to adjust the settings for brightness and contrast .

    To adjust the display settings:

    1. Press the flywheel control. The main menu appears.

    The current display settings appear across the top of the main menu.

    2. Rotate the flywheel to highlight an option. The name of the
    highlighted option appears in the center of the menu.

    3. Press the flywheel control to select the highlighted option, then
    rotate the flywheel to adjust it.

    Some options can only be enabled or disabled. There are also some
    options that contain additional menus.

    4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you have made all your changes.

    5. Rotate the flywheel control until Exit is highlighted, then press
    it to exit the OSD control system.


    Contrast increases or decreases display image contrast.

    Brightness increases or decreases display image brightness.

    Horizontal Size increases or decreases the width of the display image.

    Horizontal Position moves display image to the left or right side of
    the screen.

    Vertical Size increases or decreases the height of the display image.

    Vertical Position moves display image to the top or bottom of the

    Pincushion curves the sides of the display image inward or outward.

    Trapezoid increases or decreases the trapezoid distortion of the
    display image.

    Degauss removes magnetic discoloration from the display image.

    Recall returns most options to the original factory default settings
    if the monitor is currently using a preset video mode. (See the “Video
    modes” section in this guide for information about the factory preset

    Advanced Option opens the Advanced Option menu. Color opens the Color
    Manager menu.

    Language changes the display language for the OSD control system.

    User displays information about the monitor’s preset modes.

    OSD Manager moves the OSD control window on the screen.

    Exit closes OSD control system.

    Video 5 / DTV disply in upper left screen will not go off.

    Press Info / Display button on TV remote, on-screen display will disappear.
    Sony TV Remote is required for that function, other remote wont work.

    Somehow the clock is displaying 24 hour time format. I want to get back to 12 hour format. How?

    Push the mode button twice to enter the "set time" mode. Once the digital display is blinking, keep pushing "mode" until the PM display section in the upper left corner comes on. Once that happens you are back to the 12 hour clock. To set the clock, use the 1-4 buttons to set the hours and minutes.

    I used this and it worked for me!:

    1/Turn machine on without disc inside
    2/Press menu button
    3/Enter region code (See below for list)
    4/A highlighted 'region area number' will appear in the upper left corner (some players)
    5/Press 9 to change the region number to multi-regional

    How to display time

    Click on Main Menu, then Settings, then Personalize, then Home Screen, Hit down arrow to Clock: then hit Change Select Digital then hit Select Again, the Screen will then confirm Clock Changed. Now go Back to your home Screen and you should see the clock display in the upper right corner just under the Battery Icon...

    Turn off clock on my phone.

    Main Menu> Settings> Display & light settings> Display> Wallpaper> Choose images (this will just disply a small clock at the top) or choose "Use Theme" (this will let you choose what clock sort you want on your wallpaper (do this by choosing "Use Theme"> Save> My Theme> Select Theme> Chose one of the 3 themes))

    DO NOT choose "Living World" as this will display a large clock

    The following steps show you how to scan and save images.
    1 Open the top cover of the All-In-One.
