Question about Lexmark 1100 Color JetPrinter InkJet

Printer does not print

I have a Lexmark 1100 series. It goes through the motions of printing, but when it's finished, there is nothing but a blank page. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed it. No luck. I don't use this printer much and can't remember the last time I used it, but it was fine. I have changed the ink cartridges, but I'm sure I have printed since then. Is there a way to check to see if the cartridges are bad WITHOUT buying more ink?

Take the cartridges out and clean the contacts with an alcohol swab.  Shake the cartridges gently to mix up the ink and re-install them.  Run the test, cleaning and alignment programs to see if the ink is flowing.

When i try to uninstall my lexmark x1190 it comes up printing not finished


Try to clear the Lexmark print queue from pending/stuck print jobs so you can successfully uninstall the Lexmark software/ printer driver. Here's how:
  1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the print spooler service)
  2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.
  3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the print spooler service)
After successfully clearing the print queue, uninstall the printer software by going to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark 1100 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Reboot your pc when prompted.

Lexmark pro 205 printing a blank page before a document


If you're using Windows, try to follow these steps to fix the problem.
  1. Start menu > Printers & Faxes > Lexmark Pro200 Series Properties window pops up > go to Advanced tab > Printing Defaults.
  2. The Lexmark Pro200 Series Printing Preferences window pops up > go to Advanced tab > More Options > under Suppress Blank Pages, enable "Enable blank page suppression"
  3. Save the setting.
  4. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Sheet is blank goes through the motions of printing but sheet is blank


check ink , if low use maintenance , of changing ink to remove and fit.
If not the printing head can be faulty. check on the printing properties and increase the contrast.
Lastly reinstall and connect printer back , If not result the head can be defective.

I have a lexmark x2740 printer and have recently replaced the ink cartridge with a genuine lexmark ink and now my printer wont print, it goes through the motions of printing but only a blank page comes out.
