Question about Husqvarna Viking 1
During the clean up and fixing of a fallen ceiling the dongle for my Husqvarna Pro software got lost. I need a new dongle, or the software will not work. I have been told I have to rebuy the whole software package to the tune of $2100 to get a new dongle! This was not software I intended to buy even once a year. There has to be some way I can buy a new one without spending that kind of money a second time.
If you have the original receipt or can get one from your dealer, Husqvarna will replace your dongle for about $200, if they still support the version you have. I think they still support 3D software dongles. If its Just the "Pro" software that's about 10 years old, they simply won't have any dongles to help you with. The $2100 price is also for the whole new software package, not just a dongle. They have made many, many improvements in the software, if your's was the original Pro series.
