Question about Bosch 24 in. SHE47C02UC / SHE47C06UC Built-in Dishwasher
My Bosch dishwasher SHE47C02UC will not run. It begins filling with water for about 1 min., then will stop. A total of about 1/2 inch of water will be at the bottom. The detergent door does open at some point. There is a very faint buzzing noise, but nothing else happens. The clock on the exterior countinues to count down to 0. If I cancel the operation, the water will drain out.
I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the pilot light on my water heater went out yesterday and the dishwasher may have been run while it was not producing hot water. That situation is not remedied, but the dishwasher still is not working.
Thank you for your help!

Certainly sounds like the float is stuck in the over filled position or possible a bad float switch. Could also be a bad water fill valve - if you can blow air through it when removed then you need to replace it. You can follow this link to troubleshoot your washer, but note that its not exactly for your model - http://www.thermador.com/replacementparts/main/pdfs/SHU-complete-troubleshooting-guide.pdf Good luck!

Your problem is the electronic control board and unfortant that you cant repair or even get parts for it . Only if you get the whole control board will you fix your problem assy unless you find a good appliance man that repairs electronic control boards

you have to replaced the main control resoldering wont fix it because the relay itself has gone bad replacing the board will solve the problem

I think I may have figured out a work around (by accident). Start a cycle (any cycle), once it starts hold down Scrub Wash and Delicate/Economy at the same time for 3 seconds and the cycle will immediately finish (counting down quickly then to CL) and it will begin to drain. I had to do this 3 times(draining more each time) but the end result was a completely empty bottom of the Dishwasher.
To be honest I think this is the first time the thing has ever been completely empty! I wish I was joking...

Kindly check for the following :
Check for hose kinks or food plugging drain hose. Start at the drain port exit.
Check the check valve and drain hose for debris.
Check pump motor for reversing during the pump out make sure the dishwasher is pausing between the wash and drain cycles letting the pump/motor reverse for the drain cycle.
Check pump motor assembly for a drain solenoid, during the pump out make sure the solenoid makes that distinctive "clunk" noise
If you have recently installed a new garbage disposal, check knock-out plug at connection.
Check pump impeller for damage.
Check that the water inlet valve isn't seeping fresh water into the dishwasher when off.
Please contact for any further clarifications.
A Fixya Rating would be appreciated if.
