Adustments engine speed low rpm

You cannot adjust the voltage output. All generators are rated for 110-125 volt recepticals and usually have at least one 220-240 volt receptical for special appliances that require it such as water heaters, pumps, welders, air conditioners. When one of these higher draw appliances is connected and they begin to draw amperage, the gas engine will automatically increase rpm to produce enough amps. If your generator gauge is showing low voltage such as 60,80 or 90volts for example, then you have overloaded the generator and blown a capacitor, resistor or similar item.

Can you advise me on setting the fuel/air aduster on my Stihl Ms180

as a general rule...there are 2 setting screws...one labeled "L" and one labeled "H"...first off, you want to turn the "L" screw clockwise in all the way just until it stops(be gentle, as this is a needle valve and you can damage the needle if you use too much force). Next, you turn the screw counterclockwise out 1 1/2 turns as a starting point....start the engine and adjust the "L" screw just until it starts to sputter and then back off the screw until you get a smooth idle...next, you want to give the saw full throttle...you should have a smooth transition to high speed...if not then you will need to adjust the "H" screw in and out until you obtain a good slow to fast response...you may have to do this several times in order to obtain the best results

I just bought a used ingersoll rand ss3L3 and need to know how to adjust the pressure regulator switch. Also how to set the high and low limits.

if you want more pressure out your hose use the outlet pressure regulator. if you want more or less air put in the tank you can try to adjust the pressure switch. different models are adusted in different ways. there may be a screw between the points that make contact. adjust it up or down to see the direction you need to go. some of these switches won't let you adjust or id they do it won't be much.

Carb settings mixture jets on a homelite weedeater st155

ther is no set setting but to get it to run so it can be adjusted. lightly close the high off then open the low about two turns. try to start if starts slowly adust the low screw till it runs normal with the choke all the way off. then start to add throttle while turning the high out till regiured rpms ar reached with no misses. this takes awhile even fo a seasoned mech and may require several attempts

Jenn Air grill burners only lite on one side

It could be a bad regulator but, highly unlikely . Check your air shutters at the end of the burner tubes and adust them properly. And if you have a OPD propane tank you maybe turning it on to quick causing the check valve inside the gas valve to open half way. Try opening the valve slowly.

Carburator tune up of charadade 1992 sedan. The engine is running too fast while idle at 1200 r.p.m.

Before you start check the status of your choke. One that is stuck on will cause a high idle. If the choke checks out, proceed to the following:

You should have what's called a 2 needle carburetor. A larger screw adjustment for idle, and a smaller for high speed.

Start by adjusting your low speed (idle) needle until you reach the desired idle. I prefer about 850rpms. Do this with the engine running and adequately warmed so that your adjustments are not thrown off by the automatic choke.

Next slowly open up the high speed needle. As you open it your idle speed will gradually increase. Adust it in 1/8 turn increments, pausing after each adjustment to allow the changes to take affect. Keep opening it until you stop increasing your rpms, then take it back 1/8 of a turn.

Next readjust your idle mixture screw so that your idle is back down to 850rpms.

Husqvarna 435 wot run at full speed runs at idle fine and looks like u need a special tool for the high low carb adustment

On that model the low adjustment may be factory set, and the adjustment screw is replaced with a roll pin. The high adjustment has a cover on it that can be prised free revealing the screw beneath. Turn screw all the way in (clockwise) GENTLY dont overtighten only to when you feel slight resistance on the screw. then back out 1 1/2 turns. This is the base setting. Turn at 1/8th turn either way until good high speed rev is obtained, but no further in than 1 1/4 turns out, or you will run the saw lean and cause damage. Check and replace your plug if fouled at all.

Toilet valve shuts off before tank is full

this means your floater is too low, what you need to do is adjust it so it sits higher,

if you have the kind with the ball on the end then you simply need to raise the ball alittle and adust the screw,

if you have the kind with no ball, then there is a little floater attatched to the fill valve, kind of looks like a slide hammer, (if you know what that is) just lift up on that there should be an adjuster screw somewhere close to it lift up a little and adjust where its needed..
anyone at lowes in the plumbing department can elaborate. and hopefully make it more vivid for you
