Question about Sony RDR-HX510S DVD Recorder/HDD Recorder
DVD player 3 months old. Doesn't happen all the time but has started to change channels during automatic recording. You don't realise until you play back and only have part of the programme and the rest is from another or several others channels.

Tips for a great answer:
Check if the
power cord has been properly connected to the power outlet.
Check if the
main power has been switched on.
(DVD player's power supply transformer could be burned out)
Screen is "frozen"
or completely black, or Power button does not work
the power off and wait 3 seconds before turning it on again.
Make sure the
TV and VCR (if connected) are set to the correct channel or line.
However the power supply can be faulty, some resistor, capacitor, diode or IC . see the block attached .If you do not have skill for electronic, go to the repair shop.
God bless you
