Question about Haier HSP03WNA Compact Refrigerator
I moved my fridge from one building to another. It was unplugged for a few days. The fridge was plugged in and worked for a few days. This morning, I opened the fridge and the items inside were warm. The compressor (black metal cylinder in back) was hot to the touch. I unplugged it and let it sit for a while before plugging it back in. A click was heard at the side of the compressor. Overload protector?/Starter? Is there something that can possibly be done to fix this fridge ore is it done?
The click you heard is the thermal overload. This snaps open when the compressor is too hot.
Unplug the unit for 24 hours and don't move it.
Then plug it in and see if it comes back on temp.
