Question about MTV Games Rock Band Bundle for Xbox 360

1 Answer

Guitar and Drums aren't staying connected

I try to play it and it works for 5 seconds then loses the connection on Both. How in the hell do I set this up before I throw my guitar against a wall. I just bought Rock Band 2 for the XBox 360, used off of eBay. Everything works great except the guitar. I synched the guitar, made sure it has fresh batteries, and still the guitar will sync up just fine, and I can play for about 20 seconds, and it will shut off. Any solutions?

I just need to sync the drums-what are the proper steps and even though the compatability chart shows the rockband 2 drums compatible with the guitar hero world tour game-is it right?--just want to...

no console should be on first then sync the drums with the wii. you should get a automatic connection within 5-10 seconds, then your ready to play.

Do I need more than one Wii remote for Band hero Wii????

you need a wii remote for each instrument and the microphone. you need one remote for the drums, one for the bass guitar player, one for the guitar, and one in close proximity to the microphone user. you have to set a wii remote near the microphone once the microphone is plugged into the USB port in the back of the wii console. i think there is something like a 10 foot radius meaning if the wii remote is too far from the microphone it will disconnect. so you can do only one instrument per wii remote you are using.

Yellow pad on drums does not want to work this is the second time

If the drumset for the Wii is similar to the drumset for the Xbox 360, then there will be a small cord connecting into the orange and yellow pads. Make sure these are plugged in all the way and are not being pulled at. It could also be that the cord could have been damaged. If that has happened, the only solution I know of is to buy a new set of drums.

either the batteries maybe dead or dying, or you may be out of the connection area when your playing the game (too far away from the console)

Rock Band 1 for nintendo wii can't get drums to sync

I hope this isn't too simplistic. Here are my suggestions, though. Try disconnecting everything from the console. Then, plug JUST the drums into the back of the Wii. When the game starts up, be sure to press the + key on the drumset, not the Wiimote. If that works, then just remember the following:
Red drum = "B" button (back)
Yellow drum = "Up"
Green drum = "Down" (both of these to select menu items)
Blue drum = "A" button (select)

Remember that once the game loads, don't use the wiimote. If you use the drums to navigate to solo play, you won't see the guitar. Same with the guitar.

If it works by itself, then try adding the hub, then the guitar receiver.

Good luck!

PS3 guitar hero world tour not recognizing drums

GOT IT!!!!

beebe623 was right. with some extra steps. Simple steps here:
1. Unplug the drum receiver.
2. Turn off the PS3.
3. Remove batteries from the Drum Controller.
4. Plug in the Drum Receiver.
5. Put batteries back in drum revceiver.
6. Turn on PS3.
7. Hit the PS button on the Drums once. (all 4 lights should flash)
8. Push and hold down the button on the Drum Receiver for about 5 seconds, then release.
9. Push the PS button again on the Drum Controller. At this point the drums should be assigned a port and synced up.

All this is in the instructions that came with the game.
