Why can't I receive new News Feeds?

To view the most recent posts in the Facebook app on your Android device, tap the hamburger menu icon in the on the toolbar at the top of the screen. Then, tap "Most Recent" in the "Feeds" section. Now, you should see the most recent feeds at the beginning of your Facebook news feed on your Android device.

on the google page , go to the 3 bars in the top rh corner of the tool bar and select settings
turn off everything that affects the google search page (news feeds , add ons , pop-ups etc)

The mobile version seems to display the "Pages Feed" (feed of pages you like) and the "News Feed" (feed of people you like) on the same timeline, where the desktop version keeps them separate!

On the left hand menu of the desktop, there is an option for "Pages Feed." There, I found all the posts from my "Liked" pages that were appearing on my mobile news feed, but not my desktop news feed. I clicked on the settings icon to the left of the "Pages Feed," and selected "add to favorites"

Now, on my desktop version of FB, my "pages feed" and my "news feed" are still separate, but at least I can find them

try deleting the app and reinstalling it

Well i have apps on facebook to and i get news feed for them all you to do is log on facebook and look on your left and click your news feed thats it

Facebook allows users to customize their individual news feed to filter out posts made by applications or friends that a user may not wish to view. The process of hiding friends and applications from your News Feed involves the click of a button and you can very easily hide a friend or application by accident. You can always restore a Facebook friend or application to your News Feed by following these simple steps.

1. Login to Facebook.
2. Go to your Facebook home page and make sure your News Feed is displayed (as opposed to "Live Feed").
3. Scroll down to the bottom of your News Feed and find the Edit Options menu on the right.
4. Click edit options and a box will pop up showing what you have hidden from your Facebook News Feed. Hidden posts are separated by friends and applications.
5. Find the friend or application that you wish to unhide. Once you've found it click the Add to News Feed button next to your selection. You will now once again see posts from that person or application in your news feed.

Its just a feature of Facebook, they keep on circulating old feeds and news. You cannot change it, it's happening with everyone if they notice it.

To allow hidden streams to post to your News Feed again:
1. Make sure that you are on Top New, not Most Recent.
2. From the bottom of the Facebook News Feed page, click on the Edit Options link
3. In the pop-up, select the Applications or Friends tab to un-hide a game or friend.
4. Click on the Add to News Feed button next to the game or selected friend.
5. Click on the Close button

Facebook changed their site a little bit. News Feed aggregates the most interesting content that your friends are posting, while Live Feed shows you all the actions your friends are making in real-time.

You can control how many friends are shown in Live Feed by clicking "Edit Options" at the bottom of the page.

The News Feed algorithm bases this on a few factors: how many friends are commenting on a certain piece of content, who posted the content, and what type of content it is (e.g. photo, video, or status update).

You can remove friends from the News Feed list (from your default stream) simply by clicking the "Hide" that appears when you hover over their story in your stream.

To add someone back to your News Feed, follow these steps:

1. Scroll down to the bottom of your News Feed and click "Edit Options."
2. If you are looking for a friend, scan the list to find that person. If you are looking for a public profile, select the Public Profiles tab.
3. Click "Add to News Feed" to see their posts again.
4. Click "Close" to save your changes.

Facebook enables you to see what’s happening with your friends through past events and real-time feeds of information. Highlights and the News Feed were combined into a single stream so that you could have more control over what you view on your home page and stay connected with your friends.

As a result of this change, you’ll notice that the Suggestions section has been moved to the right-hand column of the home page. Also, birthdays and events are displayed more prominently on the home page.

When someone sends you a friend request, public stories about you may appear in their News Feed. If you decline a friend request from this person, public stories about you (stories that have the privacy set to "Everyone") will no longer appear in their News Feed. Please note that News Feed will never show stories that a non-friend wouldn’t ordinarily be able to see. For example, if you posted a video and set the privacy to "Friends," a person who is waiting for you to approve their friend request would not see that in their News Feed. If you had set the video to be visible to Everyone, that person would see it.

You can always change your privacy settings by selecting "Privacy Settings" under the Settings drop-down menu and clicking the appropriate section.
