The Super Dial which allows to watch TV, Music, Radio and Picturs slideshow is still non functional. Acer has provided no utility ot driver or any information on their support/dowload area.
Please help on how make dail usable again. I do not have factory restore CD.

You can't post conmments that contain an email address.
Contact the supper dial provider to send you the driver or the software first if you don't know how to contact them or you lost the information so try to
go to www.driveragent and make scan to your driver the web site will tell you if you need the driver and will offer it to you

I had same problems before on installing Windows Xp service pack 3 that some component of your computer is not working well webcam not working and others. I believe that the hardware components of the service pack 3. Try to install other operating system like service pack 2 and upgrade for SP3 is available or other.
You'll have to purchase the XP software, set your computer to boot from cd (in the cmos settings), put the disk in the cd and restart you computer. When the screen comes up to "...hit any key to boot from cd" hit any key. The system will boot to the XP cd and will allow you to delete the old partition, reformat your drive, and install XP. Next go to www.acer.com and download your drivers. Finally install your programs and data on to your hard drive. Have fun!
NOTE: Make absolutely sure that you backup the programs and data that you want to keep before starting the XP install!
You need to install the support programs for your laptop motherboard. These are also called your "laptop driver software" which is usually shipped or packaged with your laptop. In this CD or DVD Installer, all hardware devices must be well supported by their compatible software drivers.
Now look for the CD/DVD Installer and install the drivers.
Reinstall XP, fully update it, download the installers for the latest drivers from http://support.acer.com/us/en/drivers_download.aspx uninstall the ones you have, reboot and install the new ones. The absolute next thing you must do is to install the antivirus. When all that is done configure your pc starting with the display.
Acer Aspire M5641 NVIDIA nForce 630i/7100 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4700 @ 2.60GHz
1. Go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us 2. Download the latest version driver, extract to flash disk. 3. Connect your flash disk when windows said that driver is missing (before enter vista serial number) and browse to "IDE/WinVista/sataraid" windows will choose the driver that it need, install it 4. The process will continue as usual....
Open your program files on your old HDD, Find your Tv Tuner drivers in there, Now you can either drag them onto your new hard drive or copy them into the Program files on your new Hard drive. Make sure you have them in you new one and then unhook you old HDD and Open TV tuner Files should self install. Or you could also, If you know the name of the tv tuner model and series go to Add New hardware Icon in your control panel. Do it from there when it wants you to install from a specific place choose that option then the name of the device should be there under the network option, find your device and install it from that location I sure Hope that Helps you out
The driver for the TV Tuner that came with your system is Leadtek Winfast TV2000
Download the driver at this link under the TV Tuner Driver catagory.
Hope this works for you
