Question about Haier XQG50-11 Front Load Washer / Dryer

1 Answer

Washing cycle doesn't sping

The Machine stop working, we called a "technician" and he discovered few loose bolts, one of them shorted the "computer". A little white box at the bottom of the rear left side. We changed it, restored the bolts to their original location, inspected everything. Now the heater works, it evacuates the water but it doesn't spin in the washing cycle

How to fix a Washing Machine if it Doesn?t Agitate

If your washer fills with water but doesn’t agitate, the problem is likely to be a faulty lid switch, a broken belt, or a problem with the motor. (Note: Direct-drive washing machines do not have belts.)

1) Check the spin cycle. If this works, the motor is operating and the belt is not broken. If it doesn’t, the belt may be loose or broken. If you’re fairly handy, tighten or replace the belt; otherwise call an appliance repairperson.
2) Check the lid switch and the tab on the lid that strikes it. If the plastic tab is broken, the washer may halt during certain cycles. Press and release the switch. If it doesn’t click each time you do this, it’s probably broken. If you’re experienced at home repair, you can remove the switch, test it, and replace it if needed; otherwise, call an appliance repairperson.
3) There may be a problem with the controls, or the agitator solenoid may be broken. Call a repairperson.

Candy washing machine grand go f 662 stops mid cycle and the cold wash light flashes and the softener isnt used

Washing machines, like any other mechanical device, occasionally needs servicing. A common problem with an older washing machine is that the spinner, or agitator, drain,or stops rotating during wash cycles. Fortunately, most washing machine problems are easy to troubleshoot. Any do-it-your selfer can fix it; here's how.

Bucket and rags,Screwdriver,
New drive belt (if necessary),
New drive motor (if necessary).

1 Unplug the washing machine, and turn off the water supply to the machine. If necessary, remove the water hoses from the back of the washing machine because they may be in the way of the access panel.

2 Check that the agitator is seated correctly by opening the lid of the washing machine. If it's loose, pop off the top of the agitator--if there is one--and tighten the bolt that holds the agitator in place. Or, in some models, simply pull straight up and then reset the agitator.

3 Remove the access panel located in the back of the washing machine by unscrewing the screws holding it in place. This allows access to the drive motor.

4 Press on the drive belt that works the agitator. If the belt moves more than 3/4 inch, tighten the belt to fix the spinner problem. If the belt is worn or cracked, replace the belt.

5 Replace the drive motor, if tightening or replacing the drive belt doesn't fix the agitator. Purchase a new drive motor at a wholesale retailer. Disconnect wiring, remove screws holding motor in place and insert new motor. Screw into place, and connect wiring.

6 Check for any black substance leaking under the washing machine. This might indicate a clutch problem, if the washing machine spinner is not working. Contact a professional repairman to replace the clutch.

The light that displays the length of time for the cycle is flashing and saying F01 and the machine is not commencing

Try unplugging the machine for at least a few minutes - if this doesn't work it will be a engineer call out.

My 21882 top load Kenmore washer will start the cycle but stops after filling up; i can restart the cycle by pushing the knob in and going a little further in the cycle then starting again. But after a...

When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

  • It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

  • It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Whirlpool Washing Machine Quitting during rinse cycle

I would say that based on your problem description that the lid /door switch has a loose or faulty contact .. If you open and close it a few starts to spin and yet when you open it.. it doesn't always stop the spinning.. It is either the switch or the actuator that bumps that switch.. That is where I would begin diagnosing the problem... Hope that helps..
