Question about Canon PowerShot A80 Digital Camera
Just after erasing all images, I aimed camera for a shot and saw the image was streaky-blurry- distorted but there. The Canon logo opens perfectly well on the the display, so do the icons. The view through the lens looks ok. There later was flashing light (the on/off light.) and some small red icon on the display. I took one shot- it acted normal, but have yet to download it to my computer to see results. Clues?
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
