Question about Asko 1595 Dishwasher

Akso Dishwasher Model 1595 F2 Error Message

Hi -- I recently rented my house. Within a week, the renters called saying the dishwasher was leaking water out the front and down into the basement and the kitchen sink was clogged and overflowing. I called a plumber who cleared the line in the kitchen sink, so it's draining correctly, but now have a flashing F2 error message on the ASKO dishwasher model 1595. Any ideas? Do I need to call a repair person?

Hi, Try these... -Clean out the drain pump catchment.

- Pull the suction boot off the drain pump, clean out any gookus.

- Blow through the drain hose starting from the connection at the pump.

- If all else checks out, replace the pump.

The Duet hides the pump/filter access behind the lower panel. Most LG, Miele and ASKO washers have it right up front for easy access. I guess keeping such a base element out of view helps sales.

Long Drain error code.
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and “F/02” is flashed.
Press, PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
NOTE: After 4 minutes the “Sud” error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the "F2 error code" will be displayed.
Potential Causes:
(1) Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
(2) Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
(3) Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump

pls rate my suggestion..Hope u giv me a good rating...

Hi,
The pump seal may be the problem. There are a number of places on the net where you can get step by steps and the the parts to replace the seal. Some recommend just getting a new motor pump housing which is 150. I just purchased the impeller assembly (it has all you need) and it cost $25 with shipping. Only thing is I did not realize I also had a leak in the solenoid stem valve. Let me know if you need the link I was talking about.

F2 error message after dishwasher backed up when draining. Asko brand.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2 in your Asko Dishwasher means high water level. This error occurs due to plugged/bad water pump and/or a bad inlet valve. If the water pump and/or water inlet valve are bad it should be replaced to resolve this issue. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee
