A small amount of water may be normal.  Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub.  Sprinkle some baking soda inside between washes.

TRy running beach on the lowest level setting with hot water through it. If that doesn't work you can also try white vinegar usually add about two cups to the lowest water level in hot hater setting and let is go through the whole wash cycle. Hope this helps.

Water has collected and stagnated

The defrost pan does not remove for cleaning.(Nice idea engineers). The newer plastic is supposed to be mixed with a antibacterial to avoid this situation. I may not be the water that is the problem. Cleaning it will take some creativity on your part. You need a stiff but flexible rod(PVC?) and some rags. It can be done just not easily.

Water drips down from Freezer. The water is coming

Since you said the water supply is shut off, the likely culprit is a clogged drain tube that connects the defrost tray to the water collection pan for evaporation at the bottom of the fridge.

The source of the clog is usually either mold growth or more likely, ice build up. Regardless of which, if you access the defrost heater in the freezer section, you can thaw ice that has collected in the tray and if needed, use a turkey baster to direct a hot stream of water at the point the hose attaches to the tray and treat the hose for mold, below.

Once cleared of ice, mix a small amount (5 or 6 oz) of water and 1/2 to 1 ounce of bleach and direct down the tube to kill any mold / growth. Be careful not to use to much or overflow, as clean up will be difficult due to the bleach mixture.

The next thing to do (if icing up) is to determine why. A careful check of the defrost circuit should be done. Otherwise, you'll be doing this over - and it may start to affect the temperatures in the frozen and fresh food sections of the fridge.

I hope this helps!

Our Siemens dishwasher retains water and smells

I would check the bottom of the dishwasher to see if there are any bones, old food built up as some of these collection systems have a small disposer built into them.
If you find any food, it's probably that.
Also, you can make sure that the drain line is the proper length and high enough as this is a common problem. Do a good search on proper drain height for dishwasher.
You may run an empty load of dishes with a cup of bleach added to eliminate the odor as well. Bleach will kill any bacteria causing the smell. More than likely the drain hose wasn't installed correctly.

Water collecting at bottom of dishwasher. screens have been cleaned.

is there water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher or on the floor? If its sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher, most likely the discharge pump isn't working properly and not emptying all the water out. The pump will usually run for an extended time to pump the water out until it finally times out and you're still left with water in there...

Kenmore refrigerator defrost dranage tube plugged

Empty the fridge, carefully put the fridge on it's side and access the drain from the bottom. There will be a shallow collection tray designed to collect and evaporate the defrosted water, and you may have to remove this with small sheet metal screws.

Once you find the tray you'll see the drain tube. Use a thin but rigid wire to poke into the tube.

An old bicycle brake cable works well.

Also, the plug may be a frozen chunk of ice. Try letting the fridge defrost for a day.

Water dripping outside the collector

I think that there is a 90 degree bend in the outlet on the bottom right front side of the collection tray that gets pluged with dirt, line etc. You can see this when you remove the collection container from the unit. I used a small piece of wire to clean out the hole and now the water goes into the tank and not onto the floor.

Emptying the powerbrush

Gently
press the Quick Release tabs on the Clean/Solution Tank
and slide the tank off of the unit.
Grab the Dirty/Collection Tank and pull to remove.
While at the sink, remove the Tank Cap by turning
approximately 1/4 turn counterclockwise and lift
out the cap.
Empty the tank. Rinse the Dirty/Collection tank with
warm water.
Replace cap and turn approximately 1/4 turn clockwise,
until snug.
Slide the Dirty/Collection Tank into the unit. Replace the
Clean/Solution Tank.

The tabs on the side is what locks the tank on, if they won't release the tank, then you may have to take apart to get it off and replace the tank.

Frigidaire Dishwasher Problem

by the sounds of it.i think the water inlet valve that lets water into the machine has gone faulty leaving water slowly seep into the machine, you could either replace this valve..or a cheaper solution if you can access the rear of the machine most water supplies would have a small value installed on the incomming supply, you could simply turn off the water till the next time u need to use it.
