This is often an oven sensor.  You need to ohm it out.  Should be about 11k.  This is the steel rod at back top of oven cavity.  It's accessable from the rear.  UNPLUG UNIT BEFORE REMOVING PANELS.

My gas stove beeps and displays F3 what is wrong.it is a kenmore 970-568212

This range was made by Frigidaire for Kenmore. Thus the F3 error could mean a problem with the temperature sensor, the EOC (electronic oven control) or the wiring between the two. You'll need to get to the back of the range and check the resistance at the sensor. In a ~70 degree F environment, the sensor should have a resistance of ~1100 Ohms. (The sensor is connected to the EOC by a pair of violet wires.) Make sure to rule out a problem with the wires, if the resistance tests out of specifications.

If the sensor gives the correct resistance and the wires are fine, replace the EOC. Please check that you have given the full model number, I can't find this model anywhere at Sears Parts Direct or elsewhere.

If the stove is under warranty, contact Sears for repairs. I hope this helps.

F-1 is a sub-code for a few different issues. A button could be stuck, oven cavity getting too hot, or the control has a memory failure. Any of those three failures would require a new control. But first, what happened to the range when it first failed? If you unplug it and try again, what happens?

F2 f3 starts beeping when using stove or oven

F2
Oven temperature too hot
Check and replace oven temperature sensor (RTD).
F3
Open oven temperature sensor (RTD)
Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
So i suppose its a sensor replacement is necessary. These are the fault code explanations by frigidaire.good luck with the machine. Please do post results and comments.
