Question about Compaq Armada E500 Notebook
What is the maxmimum supported / working size of a hard drive for this laptop. Also whats the trick of getting this guy to boot from a cd?
f10 opens up bios, noting has worked so far. Don't have any floppies around to test booting from a floppy.
You can safely install up to a 80 GB HDD in that compaq. When getting into the bios go to the boot sequence section and change the boot squence to be CD=>HDD=>FLOPPY or FLOPPY=>CD=>HDD
