I recorded videos at a concert with the new nikon coolpix L810 and the sound on the video is horrible. What is causing the noise in my video? sounds like wind is blowing or a crackling noise

The problem is the microphone on the camera. The mic on the camera is for recording sound in more normal environments. The sound level on a typical concert is much higher than normal, and the mic on the camera just doesn't have what it takes to record sound at those levels.

One possible solution is to record the sound with a dedicated audio recording device, and combine the video and audio in your video editing software.

When I record a video using my Nikon Coolpix s4000, when I try to play it back the sound plays at normal speed but the picture is in slow motion! This happens everytime I record a video, is there anything...

Look for a Menu then FPS (Frames per second) option.30 fps should solve your issue. sometimes in order to keep file size low the setting is slower causing this issue.Good Luck.

When I play back a recording on my camera, it is perfectly fine. When I put it on my computer, the video and sound is out of sync. The video is also in slow motion. Why?

Sounds like your computer is having trouble decoding the video. You might try a newer video playback program, such as VLC (http://www.videolan.org).

When I record a video there is no volume when I view it on the camera and on the computer how do i get it to record volume

Unlike later models, the L4 does not record any audio on its videos. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but not on the camera itself.

I can't hear any sound off my camera videos

Hello,

The Nikon Coolpix 4600 does not record any audio with the video.
This is surprising and not very useful.

The Coolpix 5600 does and the 4600 uses the same body, that is why it has microphone holes on the top.

How to take pictures from Nikon coolpix L16 to windows ME ?

Support on Windows ME for USB is poor. Your best shot is to go to the setup menu on the camera and select USB and then make sure it's set to "Mass Storage" and not "PTP". Then connect the camera.

Audio problem with NIKON COOLPIX 2100

That's because this camera records video only without audio, same as on the 3100.
