BEKO D3422FW Dishwaser stays on the pump out cycle.

The main problem with the dishwasher is that it sticks on the emptying cycle ie the pump runs continously and will not move on to fill. I have taken the float switch apart (which is made of polystyrene) and it works fine for half the full cycle and then jams again on the pump out cycle. Could there be a blockage in the 2 pipes leading to either side of the float switch?

I am having problems with my Beko D3422FS.

I turn it on, it fills with water, but does not wash. The rotary controller does not rotate through the selected program. I tilted the diswasher back and water came out. I tried to restart but the same thing happens.

Any suggestions on what the problem is and how to fix it.

    Please help!

my Beko Dishwasher 3421FW, which recently had a 4 week holiday waiting for a replacement lower spray arm, has now packed up altogether!
It is only splashing cold water around, and the selector knob moves to the end of the cycle within 10 minutes, also, the upper spray arm is not spinning (i think it's the seal), but that happened about a week earlier, was getting round to ordering a new part when the whole lot went
    Any suggestions?

I can confirm Solution #2.

This usually happens whe you have a blockage in the waste pipe. For some reason, once you've cleared the blockage, the dishwasher doesn't detect that water has now passed through the system, even if you send through more water via filling the base (I did this about 4 times totalling 24litres of water and it still didn't reset).

Tilt the dishwasher back (I only had to tilt it about 30 degrees), this resets whatever switch it is that turns the pump off and allows it to fill with water.

I found vent loose as suggested above and tilted it back to reset and it worked

Hi the problem is the side vent has come away from the body .
look in side and take out the bottom draw on the left hand side about half way up you will see a small round vent ; it is this that is loose and letting in water in to the bottom tray and activating a trip switch in the base so you dont get water all over your nice floor. just turn it to the right and it should tighten up

Dishwaser will not empty the soap, does not matter if it is the cubes or crystals

Run it empy one time and see if it does the same thing. If it does then there is a water distribution issue. The spray bar is not getting enough water through it. If it does not work right when empty you should inspect the spray bars for plugged holes and then check the sump and pump area for debris. If the machine works when it is empty, check to see if you are loading it in a manner that obstructs the soap dispensor.

Just installed beko dw600 dishwasher and ran empty on economy cycle as directed. After 4hours machine still running? Do you physically have to switch machine off?

The econo cycle is the shortest cycle on the dish washer. You have a mainboard issue with it or something. Most cycles on newer dishwashers take 2 hours.

What is the float switch

I have no real experience with float switches on dishwashers, but have with some in humidifiers. It's a piece of styrofoam on a narrow metal stick that lifts when the appliance fills with water & lowers when the water empties. If this gets stuck on something, like a dishwasher rack, the unit won't fill or empty the water & the cycles won't work properly. Take a look & see if there is such a thing hung up somewhere in the dishwasher. If you can loosen it, your dishwasher should work again.

My dishwasher is sticks in between washing cycles

These mechanical timer machines have to follow a series of logical steps to complete the program - ie, empty. fill to level 1. wash. heat to temp. etc etc
My guess is the machine is not heating, as you say it works for part of the program - or possibly it is not emptying correctly? check water heating element and drain pump.
Program 4 eco is a separate program from 3, using low temperature washing - the machine does stop between 3 and 4 normally and doesnt carry on through.

How do i re-set my dishwasher

If by reset you mean cancel the programme, then you need to press and hold the start/pause button for about 10 seconds until the drain pump starts to run.
This will continue for about 2 minutes. When it stops, turn off the appliance. When you turn on again all should be well

I need to Know how to re-set my dishwasher? I have a Beko Easycare D3422FW

Hello antheafrankl, I am not familiar with this model of dishwasher, but did you try unplugging it for 10 seconds? On some models one can press and hold the on/off switch, press and hold the program select button. or somtimes there is a combination of buttons that need to be pushed at the same time which I wouldn't be familiar with in this model. By the way what is it doing that you think it needs to be reset?

Washing machine

Sounds like you may have a corrosion issue or water ingress, causing a short. Could be a corroded heater, water in the main control board, water in the pump motor - the list is endless. Most washers tend to run the pump to ensure drum is drained before starting the cycle, so it would be probable that the problem is in the pump area.

You don't say if the main switch is an RCD or an ELB. I presume it's an RCD.
