No volume on television. The TV is not on mute. Hypersound is off. Tried to use remote to turn hypersound on but it will not work. All the sound setting will not work either. You can turn the Tv Volume up and hear the speaker's white noise only.

Why isnt my tv volume not working?

make sure you have tried the volume with the remote and the buttons on the set, if the buttons on the set work then their is a problem with the remote. if neither work then the sound circuit is bad in the set.

Volume is gone (except for a clicking noise)

Check whether the mute function is ON or not. If not, the muting section circuit inside has the fault.

Muted my sharp le 810 and now i can't retrieve the sound

If you push the volume button on set does it show on screen?

My guess would be the sound may be turned down on the box or tv or maybe in the TV menu the speakers may be turned off.

Does not sound (pardon the pun) like a circuit repair but like an error.

Check all audio settings or options first in the set and then the box.

No sound coming from TV....recently relocated and ran TV from cable box, have lost remote to TV and now cannot get sound to work...picture good just cant get sound?

I think you are muting the the remote before you relocated...you need a remote to un-mute the sound of your TV...this cannot be done using the volume control in your TV unless you have the remote...if you loss the remote...buy a universal remote control

Remote won't turn tv off or on. Mute, volume also does not work

Take the set apart and see if there is a separate board in front of the set. Remove the board and check for cold solder joints first. If o.k., replace sensor. Then again you could contact toshiba and order another key pad for the set.
