Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have bought a new PC running Vista and I have successfully load the HP 6110 driver and I can print documents. Unfortunately I can't seem to scan documents. There is one icon or method I can find to scan a document. On my old XP machine I was able to locate an icon for scanning. Can you help?
I suppose there was a problem in your driver installation. For most USB devices, it is recommended that the drivers be copied/installed on the pc prior to attaching it via the cable. So, if you attached the printer to the pc before copying its driver to the hard disk, you are likely not to have the right result ok. Put back the driver cd/dvd into the drive tray and uninstall. Restart your pc and then follow the step above. Good luck

In Windows Vista there is no the shortcut you mention above. Just use Windows Fax And Scan program and make your scans through is.
