Question about Abit IC7-G Motherboard
Not only scanning but also for playing a game,it continuously give siren.plz give me a solution urgent otherwise it replaced by myself
Also, on the ic7 g, the tiny fan on the northbridge chip can fail and cause the same symptoms. (Happened to me and I spent a bit of time re-applying thermal grease btwn CPU and heatsink only to find the siren still went off under stress. The tiny fan was an easy fix. )

The sound you are hearing is a warning that the CPU is over heating.
Try cleaning the CPU fan & the heatsink the fan is connected too.
If you built the system did you add thermal grease between the heatsink & CPU?
It is also possible the thermal grease has dried up & is no longer allowing the heat from the CPU to transfer to the heatsink. It may be time to replace the heatsink assembly.
If your over clocking the CPU reset it to normal.
