Question about Canon MX300 Office All-In-One Printer
When i run out of inks i should be able to scan , but it can not . why ?
Most all-in-ones still behave like a printer. So when you run out of ink, the computer inside decides nothing will work. In many printers that take both color and black ink cartridges act, even if you just want to print in black it won't let you print at all with a missing or empty color cartridge. In this case even the scanner function is disabled. That's just how it was designed. Sometimes you're better off with separate units, even if they take more space.
