Connecting an outdoor MP3 player to an NAD C352 Amp

I want to try and use an NAD amp for dual internal and external use. I thought I could just set up an MP3 connection outdoors and somehow connect to the amp indoors then run speaker cable to outdoor speakers. Does anyone know if this is possible? cheers

If your sub is connected to a separate amplifier, the internal amplifiers of the receiver would be at fault.

NAD M3 power light turns red immediately and PROTECT message displays. Amp keeps functioning but volume control doesn't work up or down.

Hello
Check the connection to speaker with this amp, for any short or any other fault. disconnect the outputs, ie, speakers from the amp, and switch it On, and see the protect display comes or not. If it comes, the fault is internal and the set need service.
Your M3 dual Mono integrated amp, is of high output power and its outputs are protected against any overload or short circuit. If the system detect any among this condition specified above, it will show protect mode display.
Never load this amp, as protection display is there, as it may damage the speaker or its internal power amplifier section circuits, may cause more money to get it repaired. OK.

I think LG 6300 mobile sucks in that aspect. I too have the similar kind of issue where in I could not transfer mp3 from internal to external card. I think, the best work around would be using the pc suite, though I have not tried it yet.

HOW CAN I TURN ON THE AUX IMPUT OF A Pioneer DVH-P7000 Stereo Receiver & DVD Player In Dash

Look carefully in the front panel for the source button- input. after connecting the RCA jacks input at the rear with a source, select this , do not put in the cd when you are trying out as it might go to the default setting of detecting the cd.
Hope you get this right.Good day

Connecting NAD 2600a amp.

Never connect incompatible connections. Speaker outputs are for speaker inputs. Period.

The various inputs on this or most any amp are for Line Level signal with the exception of anything explicitly labeled "PHONO" as that would be for a non-preamplified turntable ONLY.

From what I have found online, Lab-In was a NAD feature that restored the frequencies that were rolled off when turntables were being used in the (assumed) preamplifier that fed this amp.

http://web.295.ca/~peak//audio.html

"NAD belleived at the time that practical PHONO stages and the preamp and power amplifier stages be rolled off at subsonic frequencies to prevent subsonic wow and flutter from Turntables and supersonic frequencies (EMI/RF/Radio) signals from getting into the system in the first place. Their notion was that if your ears cannot physically hear it, then why amplify it. For the PURIST, there were a set of LAB IN amplifier inputs with more extended response called "LAB IN" inputs"

Use the Lab In's UNLESS you have a turntable source.

NAD C352 turns on but no sound

Hello,

The first and easiest things would be to check all connections.
Speaker wires
RCA Cables !!

If you are getting a green light you are getting proper power and ground connection.

Other than that the other possibility's would be internal components, capacitors ect.

I would be willing to bet something has come jarred loose. Post back after you have checked and double checked all connections.

Connecting NAD 314 Receiver\ preamp to Carver M-500t to speakers

Dear Tim,
Yes, you can connect your NAD as a preamp to the Carver power Amp.

Connect the NAD's pre-out to the input of the Carver Power Amp. You can then connect the Klipsch speaker to the Carver. Set the gain control on the NAD.

Now you should be able to control all the input and the main volume control from the NAD.

Amp c352 TI 1515456 failure

It sounds like yo shorted the speaker wires together for a short time and smoked the output section of the amp. The amber light is an indication that the amp is in protect mode. If you attempt to power up the amp and still have the amber light even with all speaker wires disconnected, the amp needs repair. The output transistors for that side will need to be replaced.
