Hi,
I'm afraid memory card is worn out / unstable and there is no other way except to format it. You will lose all data by formatting it and in fact its already lost because camera or computer does not recognize memory card.
Thanks.

You need to format the xd card, do it through internet explorer. to do this just connect the xd card to the pc and left hand click on the xd card in the my computer folder and click on format, after you do this put it in the camera and try again. it seems like your memory card is corrupted if formatting will not work i suggest buying a new one as repairing it will cost ans much as a new one.

I have a J10 fujifilm camera and it currently has an error message: FRAME NO. FULL! I have the following picture card: Fujifilm xD xD-Picture Card M1GB Any advice would be appreciated.

Try formatting the memory card. If that doesn't work, try a different memory card. If that doesn't help, sadly, it's probably time to return the camera if it's still under warranty.

Good luck!

My Fujifilm 128MB XD card shows 'Read error' when inserted into my camera, but the photos will display on my computer - HELP!!

If you have rotated the images on your PC, you may find that your camera is not able to process the images correctly.

If not, try backing the photos up onto computer, format the XD card and then try copying the pictures back if you need to have them on the camera.

Is olympus xd -picture card, type m+ 2gb compatable with camera Fujifilm Finepix.

XD cards are now obsolete memory cards. The cards were developed by Olympus and Fujifilm and released during the summer of 2002. There is now an adapter that allows an SD card to be used in place of the XD card You need to remember that the capacity should not exceed 2 GB or the camera will not be able to accept it. As far as I know cameras accepting XD cards were last produced in 2007, I don't know what specific models however the camera specifications would show what type card it uses.

After recharging my Fuji Finepix v10 it will not read the xd card. The camera is showing a card read error. I have tried to power down and power up and removing & reinserting the card. For a few...

1 of two possibilities, card or camera problem.

1) Have you got or have access to another XD card? If so try it. Does it work OK. If yes, its a card issue, if not, then a camera problem. If you can't borrow one, buy a low capacity card, cheaper, and try that. Its always handy to have a spare anyway.

2) Hoping that is a card problem (Cheaper to resolve) give the card contacts a polish and give the card slot a blow to remove any dust there may be. Re-insert the card and re-format it using the camera menu. Note that this will remove any data stored on the card.

3) If a second card doesn't work and so proves to be a camera problem, them my final suggestion is that you go to the Fuji website, follow links for support, check forums for similar problems or, see ig there's a firmware upgrade available for you camera on the "Downloads" page.

Screen says card error

Fujifilm FinePix E550 Card Error Problem: With camera OFF, remove XD card. Turn camera ON & "take" a couple of pictures. Turn camera OFF & reinsert the XD card. Turn on & it should be good to go. It sems strange that this info is not available on the fujifilm website where they suggest to take the camera to "the nearest authorized FUJIFILM repair facility."

"error write" memory card XD M 1Gb

You may want to check Fuji's website and make sure that the 1gb card is compatible for the camera. You may need to have the firmware in the camera upgraded to support storage that large.

FINEPIX A340

the only wayi found to make the card accepted is to upgrade the firmware software, this can be downloaded from fuji website, and extract the file and copy it in the initial memory card supplied with the camera, then put bnewly charged batteries or ac adapter and on the camera holding the disp/back button. then it will show the option for the update, and then click ok . after installing ne firmware switch of the camera and put the new xd card on the camera and format the card. this will enable you to shoot inthe new card.

its the card not the camera.
i think you fingers have come into contact with the gold bits on the xd card.
try wipping the card and putting it in several times,if all fails buy your self an olympus 1gb xd card H TYPE.
seekreep@yahoo.co.uk
the best compact of all time was the Olympus C-70 Zoom Camera which can be found 2nd hand over ebay.
