Will not agitate or spin out
Hello Tabatha,
I see that you are having trouble with your washer portion agitating and spinning out. I suggest to give your appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it switching the circuit breaker it is attached to, off for 3-5 minutes. Once the 3-5 minutes has passed, switch the circuit breaker back on. Turn the washer on. If you are still having trouble with it not agitating or spinning out, I suggest you contact your local authorized technician to come and diagnose the washer, to see why it will not agitate or spin.
-Best Regards-
SOURCE: I have a Frigidaire Gallery Stackable that has a screechy dryer
Sounds like it is worn out. Get a parts diagram and take it apart and see what parts are missing or worn out. The belt is probably coming apart and that is the black stuff. There are several plastic wear plates and a bearing/bushing for the drum, plus the belt idler and all these can wear out. The motor could also have a bad bushing in it but more than likely that will require a new motor as they don't usually sell just the bushing or end caps.

The Model number could be on the top of the machine or around the dryer door or by the washer lid. if your looking for a 220/240 volt 3 prong cord you should be able to get one at lows or home depot
SOURCE: my dryer was smoking.... i unpluged it, can you
I am assuming it was smoking while it was running. I am guessing you need to open the back and remove the lint build up. This is a common cause of fires, because it is by the heating filiment and catches fire when running if not kept clean.
The back can usually be removed by pulling the dryer away from the wall and unscrewing six to eight screws. When you open the back, you will see the bottom of the heating element. (the rest is enclosed) The lint tends to collect near the opening of this area. Make sure you have the dryer unplugged. It could get nasty if it is not unplugged before you start messing around.
If it is making a noise while smoking, the problem could be the belt is slipping while the basket is rotating.
Good luck!

OK check to make sure that you don't have any "mechanical" issues that are stopping the motor/drive from working, then if, as i suspect it IS all OK, then most likely then it will be the main controller? Most often it is. However if you want to DIY, then you simply MUST obtain a service manual first. The follow the troubleshooting steps contained within. Also make sure you check ALL sensors, if they are all OK, then we are back to the main CCU. It may even be cost effective in the long run, to get a service call, from a professional, and ONLY ask for a "Quote" as to what's wrong, and how much it may cost, and simply go from there? Replacing things, "willy nilly" as we say, is NOT the best way to approach the problem, as already you have outlaid monies with NO result, so please give careful consideration as to how you proceede.
