It's probably not a compatible file for your phone too. another explanation to that also is, the downloading time that was given to you by your service provider has expired.

You should take the phone by a provider, and let them help you figure out what's going on. If it's a software problem, they can probably fix it, but if it's a hardware fault, they can also provide a replacement.

that sounds like you have a mms settings problem, so you should contact your mobile service provider and have them assist you with that.

well there are many people with that same problem when i had mine i would never send multimedia through messages. but you can always sent it through blue-tooth!! sry i couldn't be of much more help

Unable to download


Could be that the image file size is too large--seems to top out around 65 KB, then I get that same message when trying to download an image. If possible, ask your friend to resize the image to something like ~160x240 pixels, which should reduce the file size to something manageable, and then to resend.
