Question about LG Washing Machines

Pump outlet is blocked

My washing machine is working fine except that it does not do the job when it has to pump out the dirty water. i have opened the front release valve and have noticed that the pump is actually running but is unable to eject the water. it seems that the outlet is blocked (expceted after a wash of blankets and pillows). the real problem is to access the pump outlet pipe and clean the blocks. any help is welcome.

It was difficult for me to access the pump; so i connected the outlet pipe to my vaccuum cleaner and it did manage to get water out, but the moment i took the vaccuum cleaner out the pump was ineffective on its own. so i repeated this about 10 times and then the pump blockage was cleared and it is able to work on its own again.

Washed one load fine.Second load started but stopped unfinished with water still in washer and door will not open

Could be blocked filter or blocked outlet. Maybe the pump impeller motor jammed with a coin.

After washing program, water stayes in box. What to do?

Either the outlet may be blocked or the pump is shot. Have you any idea what colour the water is? If it's dirty looking it implies that there's a problem as above. If the water looks fairly clean like rinse water it implies that there's a problem with the programming, because the wash water is removed, therefore no problem with pump or outlet. Hope you can understand this. I started at the back and ended up coming forward.

My front loader will not spin but runs on every other cycle

I had the same problem. Check the filter, I have a GE front loader and it is located behind the front panel under the door.

Removed the baby's socks and haven't had any more issues.

Sav365zaww skips the drain and spin cycle - sometimes

it could be that you have somthing stuck in the pump or outlet hose I went to a machine the other day and it had a intermitent fault like yours and it was a coin stuck in the drain hose on the pump when it washed in cold it was ok but when it was a hot wash it expanded the hose enough to allow the coin to flap up into the pump outlet hole hope this might help you

My Indesit dishwasher is ot draining water away when it washes. The bottom of the machine is full of dirty, greasy water despite the filter being checked and cleaned and I have tried plunging which makes...

The outlet and/or pump or the outlet hose are blocked. Start by rodding through the outlet hose with an unwound wire coat-hanger. It's a horrible messy job. Once you get it flowing pour very hot water in the dishwasher and start it draining through. Ugh.
If that doesn't work you will have to undo the hoses that go to the pump.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply and remember, even if you don't vote for me a please and thank you goes a long way.

Water will not empty from the wash cycle and go into rinse cycle.

This assumes that you have a basic Kenmore / Whirlpool top load, direct drive, neutral drain (it doesn't spin until the pump removes most of the water) machine.

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action

Enter your model number (###.######) and you'll see a list of major sub-components with diagrams and parts.

See the section for the basket and tub assembly's

I'd pull the cabinet in order to get to the hoses going to and from the pump first.

See the following:

http://www.american-appliance.com/catalog/newsdesk_info.php?newsPath=16&newsdesk_id=131

If the hoses are fine (make sure that the outlet hose leading to the drain or wash basin isn't clogged), check the shaft from the motor to the pump ( make sure that the pump turns) and check inside the pump to make sure the inlet and outlet aren't blocked.

Washing machine does not drain so there is a dirty water stuck in the machine .it is a bosch washing machine

Please check the outlet pipe connection. See that the pipe is not bent or twisted. Also remove the outlet pipe and check the outlet opening. See that it is not blocked because of dirt or may be a piece of cloth is stuck in the outlet opening. Clean it.

Same Error Code

Hi,
First turn off water supply valves, and drag the machine out (open door and grab inside)
Check the outlet hose is not kinked ot taut and that it's route is clear.
The top bend should go into a 35mm open waste pipe, or into a combined outlet on a sink . If it is the combined outlet - remove the whole lower assembly and clean it in a bucket - dirty job - but will improve things.
If this does not improve matters - you need to find the filter in front of the pump, and clean that. Some models do not have a filter, so strip the pump and look for an obsruction at the pump impellers on thee models.
If the pump makes more noise than action - it could be the run capacitor on the motor. These fail over time.

Spins but is soaking wet

There is something impeding the outlet of water. Could be a pipe blocked, a pump filter needs cleaning, the spigot, the point at which the washing machine drain hose connects to the sink, is blocked. Definitly caused by,'slow' release of water.

Daewoo dwf-6094r wont spin on spin cycle

You need to clean out your outlet filter;(which is accessible thru the front bottom right side of machine, small push door, or plastic screw) this needs to be done periodically - according to your usage. If this does not solve your problem check out your outlet pump. Plug off the wall first before you do the jobs. The machine will not drain water if the outlet is clogged. For the pump, tubes, etc you hav to open up behind the machine. Be prepared for water to come flowing out.......
And rate me pl, if the solution has worked......
