Indesit idl 600 light 2 and 4 blinking

Hi, the dish washer is 3 years old the maching pulls water starts ups and lights come on and it drains the water.
i checked the filters and they are fine.poened the bottom and checked the pressure switch and took it out and checked for cloge its ok.switch in normaly closed and blowing hard in small hole acitvades the switch.pump is clean and clear, found nothing cloging anything anywhere.
ohmed heating element and it shows open no resistance, but if this was bad the water should stay cold and i tiand the machins should still run, right?
looked at mother board for cold solder joint of loose contact nothing here.
small sensor on door was loose i tightened it.
fill switch is ok as well, the maschine fills and starts and in 3 secondes and goes into filter cloged alarm.

    hello, were is the sensors??
this is a European model there is s fill up switch located on the side and it fills up and attempts to start
there is a small sensor with a switch under the filter assembly and this is normally closed and i disconnected this to see if the symptoms changed it did not
there is another plastic box on the side were the water passes trough it has 3 tubes on it.this has a switch or something with 2 wires on it.
pulled the 2 sprinklers to see if they were clogs and they are ok.
checked the door locked switch and it is ok as well. there is a sensor on the door was loose and tightened it.
checked the mother board doe bad contact or cold solder joint looks ok as well.
    model is indesit idl600.
if you know what the plastic basket on the side is this could be it.

Fixed it yesterday 12 jun 09
the heating element was burnt open.
the machine mother board does a system check after the water fills up.
if it doens't see the heating it goes into alarm pumps the water out and light 2 and 4 blink.
element is a 2040 watt unit and using a ohm meter it shoul reed 100 ohms.
cost for the element in italy 28 euro.
and the labor to fix was my own.

Okay i dont mean any offense at all whatsoever but i'm not 100% sure what your exact problem is... Is your problem that the water is cold? If so your hot water heater is probably defective. You should check that out, or if its your dishwasher that heats the water i reccomend that you check to make sure your wiring isn't messed up. please comment me back, or email me at ajafsu@aol.com

If you are getting a filter clogged error and you just checked the filter and its okay. one of the sensors that checks for clogs might be busted. Another possibility is bad circuit board. It might have shorted thus affecting the sensors. I hope this helps. Have a blessed day.

Dishwasher fault codes

the heating element is probably bad.
i have a idl 600 here in naples italy and it would fill up and go into alarm light 2 and 4 and pump out the water.
heating element cost 28 euro and i changed it out.
had to change the clamps as well.
if you ohm the element it should show about 100 ohms.
if it is open its bad.
the mother board does some checks and if anything fails it alarms out and drains the water after a few minuts

Indesit w93 washing machine fills with water but doesn't start washing

Hi there. I have an old model, the indesit WM12. Never counted the flashing light (yours was 10) but my dial started clicking constantly at the drain part. I called Idesit and they told me it was a blockage in the filter.
The filter they speak of it located, on mine, at the front of the machine at the very bottom on the right. It is a black dial about 3 - 4 inches in diameter. Unscrew that anti-clockwise (a real pain because so much water comes out. My wife and I unscrewed it, filled a baking tray with water, screwed it back up, emptied / substituted tray then same all over again - until empty. Though putting it on drain again and again helped at same time). When I pulled out the filter found a 'colour catcher' sheet in it. We used them first time ever the other day. Removed that, gave filter a wee clean and, hey presto, all is working again. Hope that helps. Jim

Indesit D167. When cycle selected no water pumping or filling but 1 & 2 green indicators on.

Tilt your dishwasher forwards. Be aware that water will come out ouf the bottom. Once this is clear your washer should be Ok.
Good Luck

Dishwasher starts then stops

My (KUDI01TJ)Dishwasher did the same thing.
I Pressed start, it acted like it was starting and then turned off.

FIX:
I started the rapid advance service diagnostic feature:
1.Close dishwasher door
2.press "Hi-Temp Wash"
3.press "Energy Saver Dry"
4.press "Hi-Temp Wash"
5.press "Energy Saver Dry"
This started the diagnostics and the dishwasher went through each cycle.
After this, my dishwasher worked fine.

I think the controller must have got in some wierd mode and unpluging the washer would not clear it out but running the
diagnostics cleared it.
Hope this works for you
