SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Set Parameters Failed

I have the same problem with my Acerscan 620U flatbed scanner which I have used for years, even with XP home SP2 & 3, after I reloaded the Operating system on the same machine, (after a crash) It would not work properly, so I searched for new drivers and softwareafter not finding anything useful here, I went to driverguide.com and found 2 files for the 620U. A zipped file containing the original (Win 95-98) install disks - 2Megs, (pasted from Driverguide);
Model Acerscan 620U Manufacturer Acer info_icon.gif Operating Systems Win95, Win98 Device Type Scanner File Name disk1and2.zip
Uploader Notes This is the install softwarefor the AcerScan 620U, which is the USB model. I wasn't able to find itanywhere on driverguide.com and when I tried to download the latestversion off of the Acer website it didn't work, crashed my graphicsprograms. This one worked perfect.How it works
Unzip disk1and2.zip.
This will give you disk1.zip and disk2.zip
Unzip disk1.zip to a folder called disk1.
Unzip disk2.zip to a folder called disk2.
Runthe 'Setup.exe' file in the 'disk1' folder - halfway through it'll askyou where 'disk2' is. browse to wherever you've unzipped disk2 andthat's it!

I also downloaded a 14 meg file "mirascanv403u10.exe" (<a href="http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?el=1&driverid=128406">Acer AcerScan 620U Driver</a>) which is supposed to work with W95-98, ME, W2000, XP (with mixed reviews)and Mac-OSX, I haven't tried either of these yet although I will try the Mirascan file first. For many users the difference may be that when setting up an XP machine you have the option to use a FAT32 file system or an NTFS partition, it may be that the software doesn't work with the NTFS partition/filesystem.

If you send me a request to lrpett@gmail.com I will send you either or both of the files as an attachment until Jan 10 2009 then I delete them, (or you can get them from Driverguide) I'll also let you know what worked for me.

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}

This article is intended for advanced computer users. If you are not comfortable with advanced troubleshooting, you might want to ask someone for help or contact Technical Support.

When you use a server or a workstation that is running one of the operating systems that is listed in the "Applies to" section, you may receive the following error message: STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000034 (0x00000000 0x0000000)
The system has been shutdown. Note The parameters in parentheses are specific to your computer configuration and may be different for each occurrence.

CAUSE:

The STOP 0xC000021A error occurs when either Winlogon.exe or Csrss.exe fails. When the Windows NT kernel detects that either of these processes has stopped, it stops the system and raises the STOP 0xC000021A error. This error may have several causes. Among them are the following:
  • Mismatched system files have been installed.
  • A Service Pack installation has failed.
  • A backup program that is used to restore a hard disk did not correctly restore files that may have been in use.
  • An incompatible third-party program has been installed.
Resolution will not fit here so kindly go to:

I hope it helped you. Rate for this information will greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

I have windows vista home premium and an old Microtek scanner than will not install the scan wizard with error message: USB scanner does not support windows NT now. Please help as everything else...

I don't think you have a chance, but you could try Compatability Mode & Installing as Administrator. To configure the compatibility mode for an application, just locate the installation directory and right click on the .exe, selecting Properties from the menu. Select the Compatibility tab: Set it for "XP SP2"

I have a Pixma MP500 Canon printer. The error message coming up is error message # 5200. This is not an error message I can fix. It is not listed in my User's Guide. What is the problem?

Hi affrench,

Your problem in all likelyhood is print head temperature. The temperature at your print heads has exceeding the allowable parameters set forth by your software and manufacturer. If your printer is under heavy use loads this could be why you are getting this error code. Take it easy on the old boy, after all its only a machine, lol. I hope this helped.

Thanks for using FixYa.com
