No Internet

According to the make & model of ur motherboard, do you have the necessary drivers for it. If u are running WinXP then it can be updated from the MB manufacturers website & if its Vista, then check whether all your hardware components are vista compatible. If any hardware is listed in the device manager window with an error yellow colored triangle try reinstalling the driver from the net, but if it still remains the same satus then that hardware is not vista compatible and vista does not allow external drivers to be loaded, so u might have to change that hardware or bear the loss of that component if not essential to ur normal work................sodeep

What manufacturer and model-number of motherboard do you have?

The manufacturer's web-site will have downloadable drivers for those "other" devices.

Or, add-in a PCI network card, to achieve Internet access,
and run Windows Update -- it should find the drivers, download them, and install them.
