Will not light up or turn on at all.

My wacom Intuos4 very suddenly decided it doesnt want to work at all! Not only will it not light up, it wont even register when plugged into the computer. Its like its completely broken. I tried reinstalling the whole program and updating the drivers from the site but no dice. Ive tried other usb slots but still not dice. I have no idea what could have gone wrong seeing as its usually only sitting on my desk. x3;; please help if you have any idea how to work this.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Wacom Intuos Pro continues flashing a single white light, and no longer responds on any computer or with any USB cable, is it the battery or the wiring inside?

Laptops are much more limited on the supply side for powering USB devices. This is limited by the operating system in the computer. There are some things that you can try such as a shorter cord if the cord is detachable. The cord length affects the voltage and that in turn affects the current. The OS then senses it a drops the connection. This is partly for safety and partly for battery conservation. For some time, that device was not recommended by Apple to be used for that matter. There was a bulletin issued on it but it appears that Apple did not do anything to change the situation.

Why does my intuos tablet not respond

Can you set back an older version of XP? with restore under the configuration tab?
If possible one from before you installed your driver.
Take care with XP, because "bad" guys try to get access to any XP computer, not in the last place by offering drivers you don't need.

Pen not working properly all of a sudden

Try reinstalling it, And also change the battery in it, but it has to be the same kind. And go to your settings and change the sensory thingie, like if it says 'Light' And yours is verry clost to that, then move it to 'Heavy' And then It will do it better and wont do that when you move your mouse of the screen.

Wacom Pen Pressure issues

Try hitting the pen head into your hand 5 times. Do the same with the eraser ( do it pretty hard but not too hard. I hurt my hand with the pen tip a LITTLE so you can gauge it by that). The humidity in the air causes the pen pressure to stick apparently. I had the same problem and this made it work. You should try and clean it too but if you don't want to take the pen apart this is the way to go. i hope this helps.

Pen doesn't work

Hi,

It could be the drivers problem which does not support operating system. Please visit the vendor web site and get the drivers for 64 bit OS.

Initial Delay of tablet pen

I had a similar problem with Vista which made the pen/cursor freeze just as the tip was placed on the tablet face.
The problem turned out to be a Vista setting.
I went to Start > Control Panel > Pen and Input Devices.
Then in the Pen Options tab highlight the "Press and Hold" pen action and then press the "Settings..." button. In the dialog box that opens uncheck the "Enable press and hold for right-clicking" check box. Hit "OK".
Worked for me.
