An internal memory full message means that you have used up the memory of the camera. Your camera uses Memory Stick Media usually made by Sony but there are other available brands as well. Facing the back of the camera, the location of the memory stick is at the left bottom side of the camera.
You have 3 options. One is to delete pictures from the memory card via delete function of the camera. Second is to transfer your pictures stored in the memory to your computer. You need a specific USB cable for this which comes with the camera in the box. Third is to buy another memory stick card, preferably one with a higher capacity, for you to replace what you currently have in your camera.
In my opinion, I would buy a higher capacity memory stick.
Hope this helps.
Go to camera Menu and select format to format memory stick. This will delete all pictures/ data in memory stick quickly and refresh it to store new pictures.
You need to check again how you are erasing with the PC.Try opening the the memory stick folder on your pc, and deleting some shots one by one.You should be asked each time to confirm you want to delete. You can then check if they have actually been deleted by looking in your recycle bin.
I don't ever clear the memory stick of my cybershot outside of the camera. After download, I delete with the camera. That way I know my card will stay properly formatted for my camera.
If you have a card reader you should be able to format it the same as you would a hard drive. right click on the card drive letter and select format....
Option Go to list of pictures and check any menus like(mark ,mark all.delete all ) if have option mark menu -just mark all pictures and select delete. opton
2 if you have mark all -just -mark all -and delete
3.if you have delete all -just -delete all -it will delete all of your pictures in memory card
IF NOT OK
IF YOU REALLY delete all pictures and all datas
4.if you wish to do Formate the memory stick
now your Memory stick has Empty.
Don't feel like digging around for the Manual, but have you tried: Menu- (press down twice) to Memory Stick Tool- (press right) to Format- (Press centre button) to OK - then confirm Formatting the memory stick?
I imagine this would reformat the whole stick, deleting everything on it in 1 go. Alternatively... you could just delete them all via connecting the camera to your PC...
