Your power supply may not be able to push enough power to use the printer..sometimes HP will put the minimum power supply wattage to save money..open the case and look at the power supply and let me know what the wattage is.it will be on a lable on the top of the power supply.should be at least a minimum of 400 watts.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

It's your HP printer background software. If you change the services to manual from automatic they won't start until you need then. Control Panel\Administrative Tools\Services. Don't change anything except hp services. If you don't have an HP printer anymore uninstall everything to it.

Try downloading the latest video driver. it could just be a faulty driver file. Make sure the heatsink is clamped to the CPU correctly. this is much more important than having thermal paste on it. If someone has removed the heatsink, they may not have replaced it correctly

HP PSC 1210 PRINTER switches off when print command is given. Scanner and copier works fine. unintalled and reintalled several time .problem persists

Shukla,

It seems that the printer drivers are corrupted while the copier and scanner drivers are fine. Disconnect the device from the computer, uninstall the device from Control Panel->Add Remove Programs and reboot.

Once rebooted, reinstall the device drivers from the CD that came with the device. Connect the device and allow Windows to autodetect it and load its drivers. Windows will tell you in the right bottom of the screen "The new hardware is installed and is ready for use".

Start printing.

HP photosmart C7180 all in one not printing properly.

Hi,

As explained by you it seems to be an issue with the printer drivers.you can follow the following steps .

steps ...

1. Open a Command Prompt window

key the commands
net stop spooler

2. In the run (Start Search for Vista) type : c:/windows/system32/spool/drivers…look for w32x86 folder.

3. Inside w32x86, there will be folders with the names 2 and 3 .
delete all of the files and sub-folders in each of the 2 and 3 folders, but not the folders themselves.

4 Start > run > type > regedit .
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers
There might be two entries names Version-2 and Version-3 under drivers: click the plus sign against them and remove everything under them.

4. In the run (Start Search for Vista) type : c:/windows/system32/spool/printers: delete any files there.

5. Open a Command Prompt window
key the commands
1. sc config spooler depend= RPCSS
2. net start spooler

Then follow these >>>>

> browse the disc n go to folder util > ccc > there you wud find some uninstall files > run uninstall _L1.bat.

make sure the printer should be unplugged while you perform the steps .

> then insert the disc and click on add a device .
follow the instructions and connect the us cable when prompted .
Hope this helps .
Take care
