If this is a new problem, replace the fan. If it has always been noisy , I guess you will have to live with it.

Overheating

I would remove the bottom cover and clean the fan and radiator as a build up of fluff will reduce the cooling.

Is it possible to reduce the noise of the fan

Reduce laptop computer fan noise by getting rid of dust buildup on the exhaust system with compressed air and making sure the computer is sitting on a surface that allows for airflow.
Replace the exhaust unit on a laptop fan if the noise persists with advice from a computer programmer in this free video on laptop computers.

Now usually when your laptop fan is running loudly it's because your processor is heating up and it's requiring the fan to spin faster than normal to cool your processor off.
Now a lot of times this can be caused by dust that's built up in the exhaust system on the back of your laptop.
So what I'm going to show you to do is take a can of air duster, you can find this at basically any computer store, office stores sell this as well, and what you're going to do is you're going to take your laptop and find the exhaust area.
It's usually on the back or the bottom. In this case it's right here on the back of my laptop right here.
And I'm going to take this compressed air and I'm just going to, it has a little straw that directs the air to where you would like to blow it at, and I'm just going to, from an angle here, blow some air into that.
You want to do it in really short bursts too because if you hold the button down, it'll actually condense the air and it'll come out as liquid drops and you don't want that to get into your computer.
Do it at an angle, that way the air comes in and goes out and pulls along with it any dust that it might be picking up.
Now what that does is it's just going to clear out these air pathways here.
So once you have your laptop good and clean, also make sure that you're sitting it on a surface where air can get inside the laptop.
Basically air flows under here, it's pulled in by the fan and then goes out of the exhaust.
Now that's going to cool your processor as best as it possibly can.
So make sure that you're getting good air flow.
If your laptop fan is still running very loudly after that, chances are a ball bearing is loose inside, inside of the fan and really you're just forced to replace it at that point.

My laptop makes a high pitched noise

The high pitched noise you hear is most likely caused by the CPU cooling fan on your laptop. If you suspect that this high pitched sound is caused by the fan going out, you can spray your laptop with compressed air to get the dust off of the fan.
This solution will make your laptop work at a cooler temperature, and reduce the noise.

If the problem persists, seek a certified laptop repair specialist.

Hpa pavillion dv4-1220us has very high fan nosie and overheating problem

Make sure that the fan is running properly & that the air ways are not blocked.
You can blow compressed air into the cooling vents of the fan. If you notice clouds of dust coming out, then it might be a good idea to disassemble the laptop, clean the fan & air ways, & reassemble it back. If the fan has failed & is no longer running, it might need to be replaced.

I am having HP pavilion Dv6703tx model laptop,But my problem is that it's making a noise i mean fan noise.so please help me how to remove this noise.

This can be because of two reasons.

First : Dust is settled in your fan surrounding and the air in/outlets. Cleaning the dust can reduce the noise upto a great extent.

Second : The processor got older and now the fan has to over work to take away the heat, this happens with the aging of the laptop. Some processes and programs may overload your system, so it can also may be a cause.

Try a complete virus scan. Clean the air outlets near the fan. Here are the ways to clean the outlets.

The first easy attempt: Blow hard into the cooling fan air inlets and outlets. Chances are good that the fan noise decreases immediately.
Second more serious attempt: Open up your laptop (be careful!) by for instance, depending of model, removing the keyboard usually by removing a couple of screws on the back of the laptop and maybe some locking straps on the front. Then remove all dust you can see by for instance blowing hard on and around the cooling parts mentioned above. Note: Saliva and laptop electronics is not a good combination so be distinct but careful. Good luck!

Laptop overheats way too fast...

What is the model number of your machine? Some have design flaws that make them run hot. Also dust is a great insulator. I would take the machine into a repair shop or get a can of compressed air and blow out any fan areas. A laptop cooling pad can be a good idea as well especially if you notice that the machine overheats while sitting on a desk. The noise of the fan is probalay due to the dust coating the heatsync. The fan has to run much faster to move more air to cool the system. Blowing out or having the heatsync cleaned is a good idea here!
