With the power on, and the light still blinking, I open the cartridge door and move the cartridges to the center and resetted them (as if I was changing them). I then close the cartridge door and the power button light now remains on (no longer blinking)

Printer wont feed paper and power light keeps blinking.

must have both cartrages in to work. insert another one turn off and restart his should solvre problem

if all you're seeing is this warning at the point of installing a Lexmark driver on Windows XP, this is considered normal. The compatibility warning occurs with many devices that will still install on XP... I've found no reason that proceeding with the installation of the X73 has any harmful effect on Windows XP.
