Question about Car Audio & Video
My kenwood was working fine until i started to put my rca cable in then it went into protect mode and i cant get it out.. this is the thrid unit i had which this happen to me...the rca cable work just fine with my other radio
It sounds like your amp is not grounded properly and is tryin to use your radio as a ground through the RCA's or there is a bad channel (dead short) in the amp.

Ive had the problem before its a bad ground or a power cord touched something it shouldnt the protect mode is so u wont blow the system if it dosnt go off protect there is a constant problem just unhook all power wires n wait for 15 seconds hook back up and it should comeoff protect mode and if it dosnt then rewire everything you should find 2 wires toutching Josh E. pal.
