Question about Dell Studio 15 Laptop
I need to know how to eject my cd's from my new Dell Laptop Studio 15.
Supposing that the Studio 15 / 17 has a slot loading drive:
You can either press the eject button above the keyboard (the touch sensitive one)
Go to 'Computer' in Vista and right click the CD/DVD drive. Then click 'Eject'.
This should work.

Press in the side of your cd drawer and it should open.....failing this look carefully on the cd drawer for a very small hole and insert a small object...toothpick... pin or something similar..this will do the trick. Goog Luck.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If you look at the front of the CD drawer you will see a little hole which will take a strong paper clip when it is straightened out.
Push the paper clip into that hole press firmly and the drawer will release so that you can get your disc out

You can go to my computer and then you will see the dvd drive showing. It will probably show the title of the cd. Usually it is the D drive. Right click it and click eject. That should eject it for you.
